Not sure when that was, but it was not even close. We mentioned to a guard as we were schlepping back to the room and it was like “I know… probably just too expensive to keep heated” which sounded to me like a normal thing and not just a “this broke this week” thing.Īfter that everything bugged me… we called to ask about Happy Hour at the Mexican place… they wouldn’t answer so I called the front desk… they said $5 appetizers, $4 beer, $6 margaritas….
distance aside we were excited to spend time in their little sanctuary… pool and hot tub were ice cold. It was a pretty little courtyard with padded lounge chairs and lots of towels. We finally found it as far away and hidden as you can get on the property (such a weird place to put it, and such a long and difficult place to find). it’s the only thing that doesn’t hurt her joints. We knew it was going to be small, but my traveling companion needed a pool for exercise. Important to us was a heated swimming pool.
The things that bugged me made it hard to see past the things I liked.
